Angie’s Tempeh Bak Kwa is 100% handcrafted and made in Singapore. We are the first company to launch a vegan Tempeh Bak Kwa and every single process of this delicious CNY snack uses methods that we painstakingly came up with ourselves after more than a year’s worth of non-stop R&D. We are constantly working to improve the recipe, even going as far as winning a competition prize at Asia’s Great Snack Challenge.
Tempeh is jam-packed with rich prebiotics that promote digestive health and nutritious high protein, low carb content. The Tempeh Bak Kwa is formed after slow culturing soybeans into a tempeh, then marinated with our special in-house vegan Bak Kwa sauce. After that, it is barbecued and aburi-ed to perfection to include the caramelised crunch bits, bringing about the same texture and familiarity that meat-based Bak Kwa offers.
Our Tempeh Bak Kwa was featured on various media and was sold out for CNY 2021. Currently, we have over a waitlist of almost 2,000 orders for 2022 CNY.
