In this video recipe, we will share how to make Teriyaki Tempeh from scratch. For this recipe you will need:
🔸 1 cup Sake (Japanese rice wine)
🔸 1 cup Kikkoman Soy Sauce
🔸 1 cup white sugar
🔸 2 pieces of Angie's Organic Handmade Tempeh
1️⃣ Mix sake, soy sauce, and sugar in equal parts of 1:1:1 ratio in saucepan
2️⃣ Cook it on medium heat for 20-30 minutes, keep stirring throughout to let it reduce and thicken. Once it achieves a viscous consistency, set it aside for use
3️⃣ Pan fry the tempeh until golden brown, use a generous amount of oil to fry it to get this yummy looking finish. Flip over the tempeh when one side is done
4️⃣ Drizzle teriyaki sauce over tempeh, chop up seaweed to garnish, a little side of Kewpie mayo to make it extraa drool worthy. Serve with a bowl of rice.
