Storage and Handling
Angie recommends cooking the tempeh within 1 week from delivery, storing it in the chiller at 0-4°C.
For longer storage, pop the tempeh in the freezer (-12°C and below). Thaw the tempeh in the chiller for 1-2 hours and cook it immediately after.

I had never eaten tempeh before and was curious about it, owning to its purported health benefits that I had read about. So I decided to take the plunge, so to speak, and ordered this soy and adzuki tempeh. Again, due to curiosity (and that fact that I love adzuki beans).
I decided to steam it, since I am not exactly fond of frying my food. Surprisingly. it tasted really good. I enjoyed the rich complex flavours-I could taste the subtle nuttiness of the soy, the delicate sweetness of the adzuki beans, and the creaminess cheesiness of....the fermented aftermath? The combination was intriguingly seductive, in my opinion.
Now, I am looking forward to trying my chickpea tempeh (I love chickpea). And that's a review for another day. ;)
the texture was creamy, soft, chewy all at the same time. LOVE the taste!
Great fan of Angie's tempehs and this adzuki red bean it's a must to order. 😍😍
I love all your tempehs. They’re very fresh, delicious and nice to eat on its own without any sauce. Not forgetting your latest tempeh chips, wow..they’re so addictive that I can’t stop eating. Cannot last for a month after opened🤣🤣.
Thank you Pat :) You are always so kind with your words. I will work hard to make more delicious, good quality products for you!
This tempeh has the fermenting taste. This does not mean others do not have it. They are less strong in compared to this. Nice and taste healthy too.
